Lead Communications/Satellite Engineer, DoD Project Trojan
1991 – 1995
Hired due to experience with the prototype version of Trojan Spirit during Desert Storm, acted as the sole Satellite Engineer within European and Southwest Asia theaters. This involved overseeing and managing deployments in support of Trojan and Trojan SPIRIT worldwide. Eventually promoted to Lead Communications and led a team of 8 technicians assigned to the European Trojan Office (TRISA-E). Ensured the configuration, installation and maintenance of various routers, computers and communication equipment for Military Intelligence operations globally.
- Participated in several deployments with the US Army and Marine Corp in support of several Military Operations, including Restore Hope, Support Hope, Provide Promise and Deny Flight (which lead to the rescue of downed pilot – Scott O’Grady)
- Fielded several new systems for the Department of Defense, including Trojan SPIRIT II, SCINS and the prototype for Trojan Spirit LITE.
- Lead Engineer for the interface capability of Trojan Spirit with the Predator Unmanned Drone.
